The workshop is dedicated to the contributions of the mathematical community in developing robust mathematical models in epidemiology, social and population dynamics, and their applications as a tool for understanding and investigation, in close connection with experimental approaches.
This is a topic of great importance and relevance, involving various aspects of mathematics and promoting the rigorous development of new models and reliable computational tools, as well as their effective application in the definition of control and decision support strategies.
The workshop aims at fostering the discussion of methods, new mathematical techniques, new research directions and multi- and interdisciplinary aspects that characterise research in this field.
